Strategic / Grass roots

The Poverty Research Action Network (PRAN) is is open to everyone. We welcome individuals and organisations to join us in the fight against poverty.  We’ll provide access to great networking, learning and opportunities to collaborate.

There is strength in numbers, therefore engaging more people to join the fight against poverty is essential. The network welcomes people from all walks of life as we believe that diverse experiences and expertise is the key for effective action and real change.

PRAN has over 150 members drawn from NGOs, other third-sector organisations, local councils, the NHS, academia, the media and members of the general public. Membership is open to anyone who wants to gain a better understanding of poverty and inequality, share their knowledge and contribute to the fight against poverty and social injustice. We believe that the fight against poverty is only possible through raising awareness and collective action.

PRAN aims to bring diverse stakeholders together to amplify voices fighting against poverty and social injustice - regionally and nationally. We are a collective for those who want to eradicate poverty and aspire for a better tomorrow. Regardless of your background, area of expertise, or employment status, everyone is welcome to join the network.
